Here at last! The release of Ellen’s new CD, Wishing Well, will be on January 15, with a concert at the Kerrytown Concert House in Ann Arbor, featuring the Ellen Rowe Quartet with special guest, trumpeter Ingrid Jensen.

In January 2009 Ellen completed an ascent of Argentina’s Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Americas (22,840 feet).

Ellen ran her second Boston Marathon April 15, 2008 finishing in 3:53:17 and took third in her age group in her first trail ultramarathon, the 50k Ice Age 50/50.

Ellen spent three weeks visiting Nepal in May and June 2007, including a trek to Everest Base Camp and several benefit concerts in the Kathmandu area.

The University of Michigan Jazz Ensemble, which Ellen directs, performed to rave reviewsat the International Association for Jazz Education conference in New York City January 11, 2007 with guest artist David Liebman.

Ellen ran the New York Marathon in November 2006 to raise money for the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Ellen raised $6375 for the Foundation. If you would like to help, you can make a donation on Ellen’s LAF fundraising page here.
