Upcoming ConcertsSeptember 18, Kerrytown Concert House, Ann Arbor By popular demand, Ellen’s All About the Trio concert/lecture series at Kerrytown returns, exploring various aspects of the jazz piano trio. Take a behind-the-scenes look at the foundations of jazz with the some of the region's all-stars. Other series concerts include Wednesday, October 12 at 7:30 pm; Sunday, November 6 at 2 pm; and December 11 (with special guest Ingrid Jensen on trumpet) at 4:30 pm. Ellen Plays the new Raven’s Club (207 S. Main, Ann Arbor) from 9–12 pm, one Thursday per month. Upcoming dates include September 27, October 20, November 17, and December 15. On the RadioIn March 2004 the Ellen Rowe Quartet was featured on the NPR program Jazz Set, with DeeDee Bridgewater. Ellen’s performance was recorded at the 2003 San José Jazz Festival. In March 2002, Ellen made her second appearance as the featured performer on Marian McPartland’s Piano Jazz, on NPR.
